Christmas Time

 Finley in her Christmas cutest!
This December was busy but fun for us this year. As you can tell I can't figure out how to arrange pictures yet , but we are working on this whole blogging thing.  Our main events this year was going down to Salt Lake for our niece's wedding. It was so fun to go down and see all the lights on Temple Square. It was so beautiful. My personal favorite was the floating Nativity behind the Temple. Finley liked both baby and "Big Jesus" The boys loved the new displays in the visitors center and Taitlyn was all caught up in the prettiness of getting married in the Temple. It was a quick but fun trip. Ryan left early the next day to drive down with friends to Las Vegas for the BSU Bowl game. He had a ton of fun, but it was a long time

in the car.  Christmas Eve we spent with the Badgers
complete with our own kids acting out the Nativity, Finley got to be a sheep, Taitlyn was Mary, Mason Joesph and Garrett was a shepherd and a wise man. It was fun to do.  Christmas was wonderful, especially being on a Sunday, we got to go to Church and had a wonderful service, and of course the highlight was getting to talk to Grandma and Grandpa Hambelton.  We had a great holiday!
Us with all the lights

Not sure who this is but hey Ryan got a picture with him, he'll know!

Enjoying the fine cuisine at the luncheon. It was top notch,  complete with salad and dessert forks and two glasses, fine dining.

Turkey Bites

For Thanksgiving this year we went to Twin Falls and the Hegstroms home for a grand family gathering of just about everyone. We went down on Wednesday and stayed over and came home Thursday night, in hopes of catching some of the Black Friday deals that actually started Thursday night but we were unsuccessful. I hate that! Anyway in true Badger fashion when ever, it seems, that there is a big family function someone gets sick. This time it was Garrett and Finley. They did not feel well all of Thanksgiving day and didn't eat much, at least they saved the throwing up for when we got home on Friday and Saturday. But none the less it was fun. We cheered ourselves up Friday by decorating for Christmas and eating Ginger cookies, at least those of us who could stomach them! :) It was grand, and can't forget that we were visited by our adopted daughter Breanna! It was so good to see her!

In the beginning......

I've never done a blog, I don't know if I'll keep it up, but I thought I'd try it. It's a new year and a good time to start something new, so here's to new beginnings! This is us, Ryan, Angie, Garrett, Mason, Taitlyn and Finley! More to come!
